शादी क्या है?
1. शादी एक खुली जेल है, जिसके बंधन में आजीवन रहना होता है।
2. शादी एक ऐसी साझेदारी है, जिसमें पूँजी पति लगाता है और लाभ पत्नी को होता है।
3. शादी एक ऐसी कहानी है, जो झील के किनारे से शुरू होकर ज्वालामुखी के पहाड़ पर समाप्त होती है।
4. शादी एक ऐसी जोड़ी है, जिसमे प्रेम होता है, चूंकि प्रेम अंधा होता है, इसलिये यह अंधों की जोड़ी है।
5. शादी एक ऐसा आयोजन है, जिसे महिलाएं पुरूषों को लूटने के लिए आयोजित करती हैं।
6. शादी एक ऐसी किताब है, जिसका पहला भाग पद्य में तथा शेष गद्य में होते हैं।
7. शादी एक ऐसा मिलन है, जो अच्छे मित्रों की तरह रहने के इरादे से शुरू किया जाता है और दिन-ब-दिन ये इरादे बदलते जाते हैं।
8. शादी एक ऐसा प्रमाण है, जिसके बाद ही आदमी मानता है कि कुँवारे ही भले थे।
9. शादी जीवन का एक ऐसा मोड़ है, जिसमें लड़की की सब चिंतायें समाप्त हो जाती हैं और लड़के की शुरू हो जाती हैं।
10. शादी ही वह संस्कार है, जिसे करने के बाद आदमी को ज्ञान होता है कि नर्क पृथ्वी पर ही है।
11. शादी एक शब्द नहीं, एक वाक्य है।
12. शादी वो ज़ख्म है जिसमे चोट से पहले हल्दी लगायी जाती है।
