এক সাধু বাবা এক অনুষ্ঠানে পৌছাতেই তাকে নিয়ে সকলে হাসি ঠাট্টা করতে শুরু করলো।
সাধু বাবা বললেন, আমি সাধু-ফকির মানুষ, আমার সাথে যদি এরকম ঠাট্টা তামাশা করো তাহলে আমার অভিশাপে তোমরা সব কাণা-অন্ধ হয়ে যাবে।
সবাই আরো জোরে জোরে হাসতে লাগলো।

একটু পরেই দেখা গেলো কেউ আর চোখে দেখতে পাচ্ছে না।
সবাই গিয়ে সাধু বাবার পায়ে গিয়ে পড়লো আর বলতে লাগলো, “বাবা আমরা পাপী, আমরা অবুঝ, আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করো বাবা”!

সাধু বাবা তখন তার জুতো খুলে সবাইকে মারতে লাগলো।
আর বলতে লাগলো- “সালা, লাইট চলে গেছে।
কেউ জেনারেটর অন কর, আমিও কিছু দেখতে পাচ্ছি না”|
