ভালোবাসার সত্যতা যাচাই
এক স্ত্রী তার স্বামীকে পরীক্ষা করে দেখতে চাইলেন স্বামী তাকে কতটুকু পছন্দ করে এবং তাকে ছাড়া বাঁচতে পারে কিনা…. তাই সে তার স্বামীর প্রতিক্রিয়া জানার জন্য একটা চিঠি লিখল

-“দেখো আমি তোমার প্রতি এবং আমাদের লাইফ নিয়ে প্রচন্ড বিরক্ত। আমি আর তোমার সাথে থাকতে চাই না ।আমি সাড়া জীবনের জন্য চলে গেলাম।”

স্ত্রী এই চিঠিটা লিখে টেবিলের উপর রাখল এবং নিজে খাটের নিচে লুকিয়ে রইলো। সন্ধ্যার সময় স্বামী বাড়ি ফিরলো। আসার পরে স্বামী প্রথমে চিঠিটা হাতে নিয়ে পড়ল। তারপর কলম দিয়ে চিঠিতে একটালাইন কি যেন লিখল।আবার চিঠিটা টেবিলে রেখেদিলো । একটু দুঃখ ভারাক্রান্ত থেকে কয়েক মিনিট পর,স্বামীর নীরবতা থেকে হঠাৎ খুব খুশি হলো ।শিস বাজাতে লাগলো। গান ছেড়ে ধামাক নৃত্য শুরু করলো ।তারপর টেলিফোন সেটটাকে বিছানার উপর আনল ।আনার পর তার স্বামী তার কোনো এক বান্ধবীকে ফোন দিলো। ফোনে ঐ প্রান্তকে বলছে,

“আজ অটোম্যাটিক্যালি আমার লাইফ থেকে আমার আপদ দূর হয়েছে ।ডার্লিং তুমি আমার জীবনে আগের মতই থাকবে । আমার স্ত্রী আমাদের মাঝে আর বাঁধা হয়ে থাকবে না । তুমি এনিটাইম আমার বাসায় চলে আসবে । বেবী, তোমাকে ছাড়া আমি বাঁচবনা ।

“এমন অনেকক্ষন কথা বলার পর,স্বামী ফোন রেখে বাসার বাইরে চলে গেলো হাসতে হাসতেl

হয়তো তার ফোনের ঐ প্রান্তের বান্ধবীকে বা অন্য কাউকে আনতে গেছে । এদিকে তার স্ত্রীতো খাটের নিচে থেকে কাঁদতে কাঁদতে বের হলো।এমন কুলাঙ্গার স্বামীর সাথে সংসার করেছে এতোদিন এইভেবে কপাল চাপড়াচ্ছিল ।হঠাত তার মনে হলো,দেখিতো স্বামী চিঠিতে কি লিখছে । তাই তাড়াতাড়ি টেবিলের কাছে এসে চিঠিটা হাতে নিলো ।চিঠির ভাঁজ খুলে স্বামীর লেখাটা বের করলো ।স্বামী যে এক লাইন লিখে রাখছে,তাহলো -. . .

“আমার জীবন থেকে চলে গেছো ভালো কথা,কিন্তু খাটের নিচে থেকে কেন তোমার পা দেখা যাচ্ছে। আমি ডিম আনতে বাইরে গেলাম ।”
