आया दशहरा
विजय सत्य की हुई हमेशा,
हारी सदा बुराई है,
आया पर्व दशहरा कहता
करना सदा भलाई है.
रावण था दंभी अभिमानी,
उसने छल -बल दिखलाया,
बीस भुजा दस सीस कटाये,
अपना कुनबा मरवाया.
अपनी ही करनी से लंका
सोने की जलवाई है.
मन में कोई कहीं बुराई
रावण जैसी नहीं पले,
और अँधेरी वाली चादर
उजियारे को नहीं छले.
जिसने भी अभिमान किया है,
उसने मुँह की खायी है.
आज सभी की यही सोच है,
मेल -जोल खुशहाली हो,
अंधकार मिट जाए सारा,
घर घर में दिवाली हो.
मिली बड़ाई सदा उसी को
जिसने की अच्छाई है.
